A whole day of swimming, I’m now sun kissed and doing my best to untangle my hair. I share a laugh or two with friends over some banana fritters and vodka cocktail. Life is indeed a beach. I hope that wherever you may be, you’re warm, healthy and happy.

Nat Geo Earth Day Run v. 2
Running is no radical move. I find it fun, plus my competitive streak comes out naturally. All intention aside, I run for fun. Is that the reason why they named it Fun Run? Perhaps it’s a play of words but it works nonetheless.
Nat Geo Earth Day Run
I want to live healthy. Fine. Diet? No, I’ll go nuts if I do that. If I subsist under the mercy of crackers and water, I’ll eventually end up losing a bolt or two. And we all know that’s not pretty. The escape. Run. There have been several benefits that relates running to healthy living,ContinueContinue reading “Nat Geo Earth Day Run”
Things I Saw To Get Me A Coconut Pie
To Read – Later
A short trip to Greenbelt resulted to Gruber, Rice and Gaiman. I was supposed to get a pair of running shoes but got distracted. Stroud, Gruen, Pratchett and Follett are backlogs. I’ve read American Gods last year – loaned by a friend – but I wanted my own copy and a reread. So when I saw aContinueContinue reading “To Read – Later”
Old Paper
I got a gift and was surprised to see that it was the lens I’ve been eyeing. In my haste to use it, I grabbed the first subject I can think of. Used: Canon EOS7D Canon EF 50 mm1:1.8 II (Reverse) (manual, absence of ring) Note: No Photoshop manipulation included
Antonio’s
Found an hour away from the city, Antonio serves organic gourmet food. The place is also famous for its homey feel that best describes the kind of dining we wish to achieve when we wish to talk and celebrate work, life and love. Surely, this isn’t like your typical loud mouthed commercial-whore-of-a-restaurant like what weContinueContinue reading “Antonio’s”
Heat
Me and some friends had dinner at Heat Shangri-La a few days ago and I was lucky enough to be allowed by the chef to take a few pictures to take for memory. Heat offers international cuisines that are utterly delectable. This, hands down, is my new favorite restaurant; something that will be frequented forContinueContinue reading “Heat”
Cathedral-Basilica of the Immaculate Conception
Or more famously known as Manila Cathedral, is the cathedral church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Manila. It is located in the Intramuros district of Manila in the Philippines. The cathedral has been damaged and destroyed several times since the original cathedral was built in 1581; the sixth and current incarnation of the cathedralContinueContinue reading “Cathedral-Basilica of the Immaculate Conception”
A Visit To A Hero
Visiting The Dead
Location: Cemetery of the Heroes, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig, Philippines
San Agustin Church, Manila
I did not intend to visit but the trippy directions provided by a pedicab driver took me to its doors. What ensued are series of snapshots brought about by sight overload. The Baroque design is so deft and overwhelming one could not help but picture-away. San Agustin is located inside the walled city of Intramuros inContinueContinue reading “San Agustin Church, Manila”
Lens Play
I was bummed one Saturday afternoon reading my EOS manual, so I documented some of my lens practice using some trinkets found at our living room. There was nothing to do and as much as I wanted to go out (that’s strictly scheduled for Sunday) I thought of posting it here as well. But before scrolling down, I’m tellingContinueContinue reading “Lens Play”
Back In The Vistas
I suppose I stressed for no reason last Wednesday. The day after, we were back to being okay again. Yipee! The frequency of our conversation is back to its normal high and we’re again in good graces. I am not feeling the perils of losing him and he’s back to his old sunshiny self. Jeez,ContinueContinue reading “Back In The Vistas”
EOS 7D Review
I am not going to doom myself by pretending I can review my new toy. So instead, I took an easier route and had someone, with a greater depth of reviewing chutzpah, do it for me. Talk about killer accessory, huh? Other girls go for fancy handbags – I go for magnesium alloy. LOL. It’llContinueContinue reading “EOS 7D Review”
Something New
I am buying a new camera soon .. this has been my plan since early this year but haven’t gotten around it for the shifting interest and lack of time. I am upping the ante. Although I am still torn between three models that are both bully’s in the newbie arena (as of this writing)ContinueContinue reading “Something New”
Was
Last Friday, I had only a few hours of sleep trying to finish a video montage for my account which was closing. I haven’t done editing for a very long time and looking at the finish product, I realized how inadequate it was – both on the material (I wasn’t given much to work with)ContinueContinue reading “Was”
Stuck At Home
This whole marooned to rest to ready myself for launch week is doing my head in (for those who don’t know what I do, I’m now working for a mortgage company and I’m helping launch a new center in my area). So rather than going crazy staying at home to rest, I went and grabbed someContinueContinue reading “Stuck At Home”
Landscape Photography
I told my photography teacher that my battery is running low and my creative juice may also be in trouble. Running more than twenty-four hours coming from work and going straight to an eight hour class that involved walking all over U.P. is not at all conducive. But he rallied me to move along …ContinueContinue reading “Landscape Photography”
Still Life Photography
My first question was, “How can I sell my ebay items more purposefully via pictures?” I practiced on some items being sold in Ang Bahay Ng Alumni and so far some of them turned out quite well.
