My Most Anticipated 2008 U.S. Summer Movies‏

There are quite a few notable movies out in US this summer of 2008. This is one of the best times of the year for people like me who’s passionate about good movies. Some may not be as worthy to watch compared to others but it still provides the temporary escape one craves time and again.

I’ll try my best to squeeze them into my schedule and I’ll post feedbacks as soon as my time frees me off my important tasks. But to give you a taste, here are some of my “must watch”  list, in order of priority.

2.                  Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal SkullFamed archaeologist/adventurer Dr. Henry “Indiana” Jones is called back into action when he becomes entangled in a Soviet plot to uncover the secret behind mysterious artifacts known as the Crystal Skulls.

3.                 Iron ManWhen wealthy industrialist Tony Stark is forced to build an armored suit after a life-threatening incident, he ultimately decides to use its technology to fight against evil.

4.                  The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince CaspianThe Pevensie siblings return to Narnia, where they are enlisted to once again help ward off an evil king and restore the rightful heir to the land’s throne, Prince Caspian.

5.                  The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon EmperorIn the Far East, trouble-seeking father-and-son duo Rick and Alex O’Connell unearth the mummy of the first Emperor of Qin — a shape-shifting entity who was cursed by a wizard centuries ago.

 7.                  Get SmartBungling secret agent Maxwell Smart, also known as Agent 86 for CONTROL, is on a mission to battle the forces of their evil crime nemesis known as KAOS with his more-competent partner Agent 99, (whose real name is never revealed) at his side. When the headquarters of U.S. spy agency Control is attacked and the identities of its agents compromised, the Chief has no choice but to promote his ever-eager analyst Maxwell Smart.

8.                  Speed Racer Speed Racer who is a young man with natural racing instincts whose goal is to win The Crucible, a cross-country car racing rally that took the life of his older brother, Rex Racer. Speed is loyal to the family business, run by his parents Pops and Mom. Pops designed Speed’s car, the Mach 5. The owner of Royalton Industries makes Speed a lucrative offer, Speed rejects the offer, angering the owner.

 9.              Sex and the CityThe exact plot has yet to be released, but the trailer does reveal that the movie takes place four years after the season finale.
